Estepona Leads Property Price Growth in Costa del Sol’s Golden Triangle

Estepona has taken the lead in real estate sales growth within the Costa del Sol’s prestigious Golden Triangle, which includes Estepona, Marbella, and Benahavís. In 2024, Estepona saw a 15.1% rise in property prices—outpacing Benahavís (10.8%) and Marbella (9.8%).

Key Hotspots Driving Growth

Several areas across the region recorded significant increases in property values during May:

  • Marbella:

    • Elviria-Cabopino: +22.4%

    • Las Chapas-El Rosario: +14.1%

    • San Pedro Alcántara: +13.9%

  • Estepona:

    • Playa Bahía Dorada: +28.3%

    • Selwo and Estepona town: +23.0%

    • Selwo alone: +21.8%

  • Benahavís:

    • Los Flamingos: +21.0%

    • La Zagaleta-El Madroñal: +18.6%

    • El Paraíso: +17.7%

Strong International Interest

The region continues to attract global attention. In Marbella, over 90% of property transactions involve international buyers. Estepona and Benahavís are also seeing strong foreign demand, adding to the area’s international appeal and status as a luxury destination.

Property Sales in 2024

So far this year, the Golden Triangle has seen 8,708 property sales:

  • Marbella: 4,745

  • Estepona: 3,162

  • Benahavís: 801

Estepona, in particular, is standing out as a top location for luxury property thanks to its modern developments and the availability of land for future growth.
